For over 30 years RoadCross has worked for safer roads. For 20 years it has run tailored prevention, alongside those who have lived through a crash.

RoadCross Schweiz is a Swiss road-safety foundation. Their credo: targeted prevention, without a moralising tone. Three fronts: prevention, support for those involved in a crash, and political work for more humane and safer traffic rules.
What they do
- Prevention: more than 400 events a year, around 15,000 young people across Switzerland; in French-speaking Switzerland, from the Lausanne office, over 1,700 students a year. Audience 16-24. They speak openly about distraction, alcohol and the consequences of crashes, with testimonies and cases from the region. Campaign “YourChoice - it's your decision”.
- Victim support: free HelpLine, legal and psychological support after a crash. By phone, e-mail, form or WhatsApp chat.
- Political work: over 30 years for safer driving conditions, with concrete results (e.g. keeping minimum penalties for reckless drivers).
- Research: publications on youth mobility, available to all.

The heart of RoadCross's prevention is true stories: young people telling the camera what happened, so a crash stops being a statistic and becomes a person again. It is the same choice as Drive Awake: to give a face and a voice, not a number.

How they connect to us
RoadCross leads on prevention and stands by those who have lived through a crash. Drive Awake adds one lens: sleepiness, often the invisible part of a crash. We look at the same road from two sides, to prevent and to understand, on the same line: prevention before blame.
