The Cantonal Police of Ticino is one of the main road-safety actors in the Canton. It leads the cantonal programme Strade Sicure (Safe Roads).
What they do
- Road-safety education in schools, from primary to upper-secondary.
- Stands at public events, direct advice and prevention materials.
- Awareness campaigns on distraction, speed, alcohol and other risk factors.
- Strade Sicure project lead since 2019: Lt. Renato Pizolli.
How they connect to us
Their line, in the project lead's words, is not to punish but to build awareness. It is the same as Drive Awake's. On the A2 axis and at the Gotthard, sleepiness is a real and often invisible factor: that is the lens we bring.
