The site content (texts, images, videos) and the Drive Awake and Opening® (registered trademark) signs are protected. Any reproduction requires prior authorisation.

Liability

Content, in particular scientific sources, is prepared with care, but we do not guarantee completeness or absence of errors. External links point to third-party content for which we are not responsible.

This page explains which data we process on driveawake.ch, for what purposes and with whom.

Data processed

• Visit statistics: we use Matomo, hosted on our own servers (stats.driveawake.ch), without cookies, with shortened IP address and respecting the Do Not Track signal. Statistics are aggregated and do not identify you. No data is shared for advertising.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, we process your email address to send you updates. Sending is handled by Infomaniak (Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva) as a processor. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of each email.
• Contact form: the data you send is used only to reply to you.
• Server logs: our host (Infomaniak) records technical data (IP address, date, page requested) for security and operation.

Purposes

Inform about the project, measure site use in aggregate, manage the newsletter and contacts. No profiling, no automated decisions.

Retention and location

Data is kept for as long as the stated purposes require, then deleted. It is processed in Switzerland (Infomaniak servers). For fonts, some pages load Inter via Google Fonts, which transmits your IP address to Google (USA); we are moving fonts to our own servers to remove this transfer.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, deletion, objection and portability of your data via the site contact form. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Bern.
